Yes, FFA is a camping festival. Every ticket comes with access to tent camping. If you would like to bring an RV or camp with your car, you will need an additional car camping pass.
Can I stay off-site and come and go?
No. This is not a commute-in event. There is no re-entry. Off-site accommodations are only permitted for medical needs. These must be arranged ahead of time.
Why these rules?
For safety, for flow of the event, and to protect the event for our guests and workers.
What is Leave No Trace?
If you pack it in, you pack it out. Please respect the land and our workers. Try to leave it better than you found it!
What do I need at the gate?
You will need a valid ID and a ticket in your name. The name on your ID must match the name on your ticket.
My ticket doesn’t match my ID. Is that okay?
No. In order to gain entrance to the festival, your first and last name on your ticket must match that on the ticket. If you suspect that your first and last name is not on your ticket, please read this for directions on changing the information for your ticket(s) or contact us at info@flow-arts.com.
How much water should I bring?
Bring enough water for two gallons per person, per day. You’ll need it!
What about food?
Bring enough for the whole weekend.
What else should I bring?
Besides props, you should prepare to camp for the entire weekend. Chairs, tables, cooking gear are recommended.
Are there showers on the property?
Yes! There are multiple showers onsite that are free for you to use. BYO towel.
Do vendors take credit/debit cards?
Many of them do — but it’s smart to have cash on hand as there are no ATMs on the property.
How does the fire circle work at FFA?
Fuel depot organizers will explain the process to everyone at the mandatory fire safety meetings on Thursday and Friday. Check the schedule you receive at the gate for safety meeting times.
Can I bring my pet?
No, pets are not allowed. Service animals must be confirmed with ticketing before arrival.
What can’t I bring?
You cannot bring weapons, drugs, drones, or illegal items.
What’s the weather like?
Expect warm days and chilly nights. Pack layers and have a plan for rain and pollen.
What do I need to sleep?
Tent and bedding. Have a plan for rain!
Can I sleep in my car?
You can only sleep in your car if you have a car camping pass. A limited amount are available for sale.
If I don’t have car camping, how do I set up my camping site?
You will be allowed to drive your supplies to your camp site. Once unloaded, please promptly remove your car to the designated parking area. Greeters may hold your ID until your vehicle is parked.
Are whips allowed?
We will have a designated time and place during the day for whip practice and cracking. This will take place far away from the other classes so as not to disturb anyone else. Cracking is not allowed outside of that time and place. Whips are not allowed in the fire circle.
